Sheria Bunifu is  operating under the Intellectual Property (IP) Section of AVINEM Foundation. It addresses the increased demand of awareness and legal services, on IP related matters, to persons engaged in innovation and/or creative industry. However, since every individual is a prospective innovator or creator, the program extends to all members of the communities in Tanzania. Sheria Bunifu operates in both physical and digital space.

Sheria Bunifu strives at creating a community that recognizes, respects and protects Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). It further aims at encouraging innovation and creativity as well as enabling and facilitating utilization of IP regime for individual and national development hence supporting the government of United Republic of Tanzania in eradicating poverty.
